Time for You - Sitting Service Volunteer

Did you know 63% of unpaid carers never have a break from their caring role?

We are looking for volunteers who can give their time to sit with somebody for a couple of hours a week, whilst their carer has a break. This could allow the carer to go out, or simply recharge at home, knowing the person they care for is safe and well.

We are looking for volunteers to sit for 1 - 3 hours a week - Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 4:30pm - in the carer’s home, interacting with the person they care for. If you’re patient, understanding, and passionate about helping others, we’d love to have you on board. Enjoy conversation over a cuppa and see what difference your help can make!
